Project Overview: I had the opportunity to collaborate with Firstway Bookshop, established in 2003 and one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous bookshops. Known for its unrivaled inventory of books and educational materials, Firstway Bookshop caters to a wide audience including students, professionals, schools, libraries, and organizations. My role was pivotal in enhancing their digital presence and streamlining their online sales and content management.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development:

  • Developed a modern, responsive website using WordPress, tailored to meet the specific needs of Firstway Bookshop.
  • Integrated a content management system (CMS) for easy updates and management by the bookshop’s IT team.
  • Ensured the website was mobile-friendly and accessible, providing a seamless experience across all devices.

SEO Optimization:

  • Conducted thorough keyword research to identify high-traffic, relevant keywords in the educational resources sector.
  • Implemented on-page SEO strategies, including optimizing meta tags, headers, and image alt texts.
